EIDBI Services
Our Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) services are specifically designed to provide support for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related conditions, as well as their families. These services utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), a data-driven approach applicable across all age groups.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a systematic set of practices that focuses on reinforcing positive and appropriate behaviors while simultaneously reducing unwanted behaviors that may hinder the learning process. Within the ABA framework, practitioners systematically assess environmental factors that may impede an individual's success and introduce new, more suitable response mechanisms.
ABA employs a variety of treatment strategies to achieve its goals. These strategies such as:
Discrete trial training (DTT):
This method dissects a desired behavior or response into individual steps, instructing each step as a series of trials.
Pivotal response training (PRT):
This approach targets teaching behaviors with the most significant impact on overall development, encompassing elements like increased motivation, self-monitoring, and functional communication skills.
Verbal behavior intervention (VBI):
Centered on instilling verbal communication skills, VBI integrates ABA principles into its teaching methodology.
